Engineer Sr - ST
- Designs, develops, and deploys platforms and applications.
- Develop, plan, and implement platforms.
- Develop design patterns and coding standards.
- Responsible for identification, creation, socialization, adoption, and maintenance of library and shared code.
- Develops developer tool solutions, process definition, administration, and support.
- Design and implement security controls, and engineer to meet compliance controls.
- Decompose, plan, and estimate small to medium sized efforts in both waterfall and agile.
- Conduct automated unit and integration testing efforts, and system and integration testing efforts.
- Contributes to deployment approach, planning and execution, data conversion approach, and scripts and execution.
- Responsible for admin user guides, knowledge base articles, and other support tools as well as troubleshooting, audit, and system health queries.
- Responsible for requirements elicitation activities, gap analysis, and backlog grooming.
- Manages work intake, workflow, and status through established tooling.
Telecommuting permitted up to 20% per week.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $170,265 - $215,900 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in a software development or related role.
Must have experience in each of the following:
- 4 years of experience in system administration, network administration, and systems engineering.
- 4 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Pearl, or Ruby.
- 3 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.
- 3 years of experience in debugging and optimizing code, and automating routine tasks.
- 3 years of experience in translating insights into business recommendations.
- 3 years of experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment.
- 2 years of experience in development of ETL/ELT pipelines.
- 1 year of experience with PySpark development in conjunction with Databricks platform.
- 2 years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- 2 years of experience with Cloud Computing platforms.
- 2 years of experience in implementing and managing high capacity, redundant, and mission critical environments.
