Description
Provide technical design and engineering activities for structured cabling and distribution systems.
Develop estimates, scope, and design documents.
Participate in project close-out support and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Create professional documents, budgets, and estimates.
Maintain and adhere to department policies and service delivery functions.
Work with colleagues across different time zones and accommodate varied working hours.
Participate in technical testing criteria and operate testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineer structured cabling and distribution systems.
Develop and administer RFPs, field surveys, and validate as-built drawings.
Provide support to project managers during infrastructure adoption.
Ensure quality of service outputs and project lifecycle management.
Interface with clients effectively and communicate with all management levels.
Travel to data centers in the Mid-Atlantic Region and Texas as needed.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in network routing and WAN technology.
RCDD certification is required and must be active.
Experience with multi-vendor solutions and infrastructure systems.
Proficient with design software and office suites.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Management experience is desirable.
