Engineer II - ST:

 

  • Participate in developing technology solutions and strategy.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying platforms and applications.
  • Contribute to design patterns and coding standards.
  • Contribute to the identification, creation, socialization, adoption, and maintenance of library and shared code.
  • Contribute to developer tool solutions, process definition, administration, and support.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of security controls, and engineer to meet compliance controls.
  • Ensure documentation is created.
  • Contribute to automated unit and integration testing efforts, and helps with system and integration testing efforts.
  • Contribute to incident prevention, resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in elicitation activities and backlog grooming.
  • Translate business requirements to functional, non-functional, and technical designs.

Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the U.S.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $131,325 - $176,900 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in a software developer or related role. 


Must have 3 years of experience in system administration, network administration, and systems engineering.


Must have 3 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.


Must have 3 years of experience with cloud computing platforms.

 
Must have 2 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.


Must have 2 years of experience in implementing and managing high capacity, redundant, and mission critical environments.


Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the U.S.
