Java Developer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strong Java Engineer to design, develop, and enhance high‑performance backend applications. The role involves building scalable microservices, optimizing complex datasets, and contributing to cloud‑native architecture on AWS. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, drive best practices, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Java/Spring-based applications and microservices
- Work on distributed systems, multithreading, and performance optimization
- Build Oracle PL/SQL components (queries, procedures, triggers, etc.)
- Deploy applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Support full SDLC: design → development → testing → deployment
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams
- Implement CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices
Required Experience:
- 6+ years in Java/J2EE, Spring, ORM, unit testing (JUnit/Mockito)
- Strong multithreading & complex data processing experience
- Solid Oracle PL/SQL expertise
- Hands‑on microservices development; AWS experience preferred
- Strong in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JMS, Tomcat
- Kubernetes & Docker experience
- Exposure to Angular or similar UI technologies (preferred)
- Familiar with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jira, AutoSys, Agile
- Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
