1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Job Keys:
- Quality Inspection Background: Candidates must have prior experience in quality inspections, specifically for final product testing and incoming raw materials.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in reading blueprints and a working knowledge of wiring or electrical schematics is essential.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with three-phase electrical transformers or similar equipment that steps electrical power up or down is preferred.
- Industrial Inspection Tasks: Experience reviewing welds, paint jobs, and assembled components (such as electrical boxes and fans) against a bill of materials.
- Shop Floor Comfort: Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment featuring 25-ton overhead cranes moving large products.
- Administrative Accuracy: Capability to handle document uploading and scanning for final inspection paperwork.
- Education: While a bachelor's degree is preferred, candidates with a high school diploma or associate's degree will be considered if they possess the necessary technical background.
- Safety Requirements: Candidates must have their own steel-toe shoes for use on the shop floor.
Job Details:
As an Engineer I, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, supporting various projects and initiatives to drive innovation and solve technical challenges. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement engineering solutions.
Functions:
- Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions, products, or systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects, including data collection, literature reviews, and feasibility studies.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities, documenting results and observations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, define project objectives, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, applying knowledge to improve processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in engineering or a related field (entry-level position).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or co-op experience in engineering.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Certification or training in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
