Job Description: 

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems, with a focus on engine performance and drivability, for German and exotic cars. Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and vehicle performance issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Rebuild and overhaul gasoline and diesel engines to factory or performance specifications. Perform comprehensive inspections and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, heating and cooling systems, and emissions systems. Maintain accurate records of parts used, services performed, and customer interactions. Interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical service bulletins. Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and recommended repairs. Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer and industry standards. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.


Job Requirements:

Three years of the following experience working with German and exotic cars:

  • Rebuilding gasoline and diesel engines to precise manufacturer or performance specifications
  • Diagnosing advanced mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Programming and reflashing electronic control units (ECUs) and vehicle software systems
  • Calibrating engine management systems, sensors, and emission control components for peak performance
  • Interpreting complex technical service bulletins, schematics, and OEM diagnostic flowcharts
  • Measuring and machining engine components to exact tolerances using precision tools and equipment
  • Troubleshooting integrated vehicle systems (powertrain, CAN bus, ignition, and fuel injection) using advanced test methods
