Join Our Healthcare Team as an Endoscopy Technician
Are you a skilled Endoscopy Technician looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure the highest standards of endoscopic scope reprocessing and patient safety. This critical role is vital to our endoscopy services, supporting smooth operations and exceptional patient care. Required Skills:
- Proven experience in endoscopic scope reprocessing and sterilization
- Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures for endoscopy equipment
- Ability to accurately complete sterilization records and monitor sterilizer functionality
- Strong organizational skills for equipment setup, breakdown, and inventory management
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties and maintain a sanitary departmental environment
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and reporting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with instrument troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and regulatory compliance standards
- Basic knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment setup
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification in Central Service or Sterile Processing (CRCST or CSPDT preferred)
- Previous experience in an endoscopy or sterile processing department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in call rotations (one to two times a month; additional call assignments may be assigned)
- Ability to work weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
- Travel necessary for job duties, with related reimbursements where applicable
- Valid licensure or certification as applicable
