EMT / Medical Assistant – Clinical Trial Device Coordinator Compensation

· The pay for this position is $26.39 – $33.33 per hour

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

EMT / Medical Assistant – Clinical Trial Device Coordinator Highlights

· This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

· The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, standard business hours (flexibility as needed for clinical operations)

EMT / Medical Assistant – Clinical Trial Device Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize clinical trial workflows (device returns, open issues, timelines)
  • Develop and execute device processes associated with clinical trials
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and manage device lifecycle activities
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Compliance teams
  • Verify inventory and coordinate shipment of devices to clinical sites
  • Confirm receipt of products and maintain proper documentation (packing slips, records)
  • Monitor device inventory and coordinate with internal teams to maintain supply levels
  • Support timeline development for device systems and study milestones
  • Archive documentation in record retention systems (e.g., Iron Mountain, clinicaltrial.gov)
  • Track and manage clinical study invoices, ensuring timely processing and reporting
  • Maintain accurate clinical study files and tracking systems for multiple trials
  • Maintain CPR, First Aid, and BLS certifications
  • Support clinical research lab operations as needed

EMT / Medical Assistant – Clinical Trial Device Coordinator Requirements

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as an EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar role
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification from an accredited provider
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical research environment

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

EMT / Medical Assistant – Clinical Trial Device Coordinator Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1–2+ years of patient-facing experience in clinical research, healthcare, or similar setting
  • Experience supporting clinical trials or device coordination
