Employment Attorney

- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- 3+ years of employment litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience drafting and arguing motions
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Familiarity with California Labor Code and FEHA claims
- Trial experience (preferred but not required)
- Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct depositions (plaintiff, defendant, and third-party witnesses)
- Attend court hearings and case management conferences
- Engage in meet and confer processes
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations
- Prepare cases for trial (trial experience is a plus)
- Provide strategic case evaluation and risk assessment
- Maintain consistent communication with clients
