A recognized services organization in Kansas is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their team in Gardner, focusing on providing medical support and enhancing workplace health and safety.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Overrnight
- Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours:7:15am to 5:45pm or5:30pm to 4am
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referring to medical providers as needed
- Minimizing injury risk through awareness and education
- Maintaining care records for employees
- Managing workers' compensation and return to work programs
- Creating daily activity logs and shift reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification or relevant experience as an EMT, Paramedic, Military Medical Personnel, or Athletic Trainer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Certification to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders and Body Mechanics Coaching
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation
