Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of experience working with embedded systems
- Experience designing, building, and/or maintaining a physical lab environment for electrical and embedded systems work
- Experience with signaling instruments
- Experience automating the operation of instruments and power supplies through IP protocols
- Experience operating and programming robotic hands for testing of devices
Knowledge Domains:
- Embedded systems such as ECUs
- Multiplex communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
- Physical switching devices for RF signals, USB, and other protocols
- Robotic testing of physical devices
Technologies of Interest:
Instrument control protocols:
- VISA
- SCPI
Communication protocols:
- CAN
- LIN
- AVC-LAN
- Robotic hands
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
