Location: Washington DC (hybrid; onsite T/W/Th)Job Type: 4-6 month contractCompensation Range: $35-42/hrBenefits : health/vision/dental, 401k, and more ( https://shorturl.at/GMPcb )On behalf of our client in the non-profit industry, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the organization's email marketing activity, leveraging the association's email marketing service to inform and engage members and non-members through targeted outreach and campaigns. In this role, you will build, test, and execute email marketing communications, while utilizing data and metrics to inform strategy, create conversions, and bolster optimization. The Digital Marketing Manager also builds, tests, and deploys the organization's press releases and statements to media lists via Cision, the organization's media monitoring service.This position serves as the technical lead of the email service provider, troubleshooting technical issues and remedying solutions with the vendor and external consultants. The Digital Marketing Manager strategically plans email marketing campaigns working with stakeholders to reach targeted goals and benchmarks.Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to align with the organization's objectives to increase member and non-member engagement.Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, creation, testing, and execution of email marketing campaigns.Project Management: Manage the communication calendar to forecast email marketing campaigns to reduce email fatigue and audience overlap.Segmentation and Personalization: Utilize member data to create targeted and personalized email campaigns to increase open and click-through results.A/B Testing: Implement and manage A/B testing to optimize email performance, including subject lines and sender profiles.Analytics and Reporting: Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve future email marketing efforts.Compliance: Ensure all email marketing activities comply with industry regulations and best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.Technology Management: Stay current with email marketing technologies and trends to enhance marketing efforts. Serve as the lead point of contact for staff, troubleshooting problems with the email service provider and remedying issues working with internal and external stakeholders.
