Assembler with Soldering Experience


Location: Richardson, TX | Onsite


Compensation & Schedule

• $22.50/hr

• Mon–Fri, 7am- 3:30pm

• W2, Full-Time


Role Impact

The Assembler is responsible for building high-quality electronic products through precise through-hole soldering and mechanical assembly. This role ensures printed circuit boards (PCBs) and components meet IPC quality standards and production timelines. Success is measured by accuracy, productivity, and adherence to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.

• Key Duties

• Perform through-hole soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) per engineering drawings and work instructions

• Use soldering irons, hand tools, and company machinery to complete mechanical and electronic assembly

• Inspect solder joints to ensure compliance with IPC standards; perform rework as needed

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions for accurate builds

• Handle components in accordance with ESD procedures and company safety guidelines

• Document completed work and report defective materials or discrepancies to supervisors

• Support cross-training efforts and assist with additional assembly tasks as needed


Minimum Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

• Experience with through-hole soldering and PCB assembly

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions

• Equipment & Work Environment

• Soldering irons and rework stations

• Hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment

• Printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components

• Warehouse/manufacturing setting with production quotas

• Adherence to ESD controls and safety protocols


Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IPC soldering standards

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to meet productivity goals while maintaining quality standards
