Position Description:
Our Electronics Bench Technicians troubleshoot and repair electronic components specifically related MRI and Diagnostic Imaging Systems. This role involves working on complex electronic systems, performing depot-level repairs, and operating advanced test equipment. MRI and DI component manufacturers include General Electric, Siemens, and Philips.We adheres to our ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management standards to ensure consistent, reliable results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Component-Level Troubleshooting & Repair:
• Diagnose and repair components, including transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors, high-gain amplifiers, tuned circuits, and RF components.
• Electronic Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of systems using tools like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DVMs, and power supplies.
• Test Equipment Operation:
• Operate and maintain electronic test equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Soldering & Assembly:
• Execute surface mount and through-hole soldering, as well as wire-to-board connections and other assembly tasks.
• Documentation & Collaboration:
• Use software tools for data entry, equipment control (RS-232 and CAN interfaces), and test result documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to streamline repair processes and resolve technical challenges.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow all health and safety standards to ensure a secure work environment when handling tools and equipment.
Skills:
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing advanced electronic systems.
• Expertise in using soldering equipment and a wide range of hand tools.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DVMs, and power supplies.
• Experience with software tools for data entry and equipment control (RS-232 and CAN interfaces).
• Attributes: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
• Education: ASEET degree or equivalent Military experience.
Experience:
• Military depot-level maintenance experience preferred or 5+ years of equivalent civilian experience.
