URGENT HIRE â Electro-Mechanical Technician
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6AM-2:30PM, 40+ hours per week
Job Responsibilities
Test electro-mechanical equipment and diagnose AC and DC electrical issues
Disassemble assemblies to identify components, configurations, and overall condition
Clean and prepare parts using equipment such as parts washers, steam cleaners, caustic tanks, and glass bead machines
Measure and identify replacement parts; coordinate requisitions with the storekeeper
Repair or replace defective components including bearings, brush holders, motors, wiring leads, gears, seals, impellers, switches, and brake/clutch assemblies
Reassemble equipment and perform functional testing to verify proper operation and output
Accurately complete all required job documentation in a timely manner
Operate specialized repair, diagnostic, and testing equipment
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Safely lift, position, and secure heavy components during repair activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Assist fellow mechanics and shop personnel as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience working within the mechanical and electro-mechanical field
Ability to learn and follow operational and safety procedures
