Responsibilities:
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various electro-mechanical equipment and systems within the manufacturing environment.
2. Installing and repairing electrical systems, wiring, fixtures and power equipment in accordance with NEC and other applicable standards.
3. Testing devices and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
4. Utilizing CMMS for tracking and reporting of maintenance activities and equipment status.
5. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to understand equipment layout and troubleshoot issues effectively.
6. Working with PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
7. Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Providing technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as required.
9. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in handling 24VDC to 480VAC electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable experience with PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting.
4. Solid experience with CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
5. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
6. Extensive knowledge of NEC and other relevant safety standards.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. A relevant technical degree or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage.
