Electrician - Shift Lead
Position Summary:
Lean Synergy Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrician Shift Lead to support operations in Jordan. This role requires expertise in MV/HV electrical distribution systems, with a focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for power generation facilities. As the Shift Lead, you will manage a team to ensure operational continuity and safety across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
?Lead the electrical team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of MV/HV electrical distribution systems, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
?Ensure safe operation and compliance with all applicable safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA).
?Perform hands-on inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for electrical systems associated with power generation and distribution.
?Respond to emergency calls regarding system outages and equipment failures.
?Maintain operational records, including maintenance logs, reports, and technical documentation.
?Assist with the management of electrical equipment, tools, and inventory.
?Supervise and train team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
?Ensure compliance with environmental policies and procedures.
?Collaborate with other teams to address electrical issues and contribute to overall operational success.
Qualifications:
?Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician with MV/HV electrical systems.
?Experience with MV/HV systems operating at voltages of 4160, 11KV, and 13KV.
?Familiarity with power generation equipment (5-85MW) and diesel-driven prime movers.?Ability to interpret and apply manufacturer’s manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
?Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards, including NFPA 70E and OSHA.
?Experience working in power plants, substation operations, and electrical distribution systems.
?Proven experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
?Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
?Ability to work in harsh environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
?Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak).
?Valid passport, driver’s license
?MUST hold a current Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
?Experience with SCADA and PLC control systems.
?Experience in fault-finding and repairs in underground distribution networks.
?Ability to perform work in physical conditions requiring climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
?Previous experience in a military or international work environment is a plus.
Location & Compensation:
?Location: Jordan - Muwaffaq Salti Air Base
?Total Estimated Compensation: $115,000-$124,000 annually
