Electrician - Service Technician

What You'll Do: 

• Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to project specifications and industry standards
• Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the placement of outlets, fixtures, and wiring
• Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on local building codes and regulations, ensuring all electrical work meets or exceeds required standards
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with clients professionally, addressing inquiries, explaining system operations, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner

What You Bring: 

• Proven residential electrical experience, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair in occupied homes

• Demonstrated sales ability, with experience presenting service options, explaining value, and closing residential service upgrades

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and residential wiring practices

• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to electrical installations

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics

• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical installation and repair

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and customer service abilities, especially in residential settings

• Ability to work independently in customers’ homes with professionalism and care

• Valid driver’s license
