Responsibilities:
- Perform Installation & Maintenance: Repair and maintain electrical systems, including weather heads, meter bases, outdoor disconnects, panels, breakers, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to National Electrical Code and industry standards
- Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers professionally, addressing questions, explaining electrical systems, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner
We pride ourselves on offering paid customer service & technical training sessions. We also provide sessions for Electrical Code updates to keep our Electricians current with the NEC.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience.
- Valid E2 Connecticut License preferred but not necessary.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Residential Electrical Services, Panels and Grounding Systems and ability to install these systems unsupervised.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident, “in the moment” decision making ability.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
