Pay Range: $30.50 - $33.80 per hour

Responsibilities
 

• Able to understand complex electrical AC/DC theory as well as has the ability to follow electrical drawings and schematics in order to apply this knowledge to operate, inspect, and repair equipment and systems.
• Applies knowledge of work processes and prior experience to choose correct solutions.
• Will work under close direction from Senior Technicians to perform assigned duties of a specialized nature.
• Execute work assignments and assist in other Technicians as requested.
• Implement standard trade practices consistent with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Perform basic trouble-shooting and repairs on all types of industrial equipment.
• Work on multiple mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Implement standard trade practices and procedures coexistent with proper safety precautions, to produce quality workmanship.

• Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school HIGHLY preferred.
•  3 to 5 years of related experience and technical training in 480v and below systems and specialized areas of industrial electrical preferred. **No residential electrician will be considered**
• Must read and interpret blueprints, schematics of electrical systems.
• Must be an excellent troubleshooter.
• Must have knowledge of test equipment for electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC's and VFD's.
• Electrician with experience, training and technical knowledge to plan, install, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems of 480 volts or lower voltage in an industrial setting.
• Responsible for safely performing emergency and preventative repairs to plant facility equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair VFD's.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems
