We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Electrician to join our team in the Construction industry. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who has a knack for problem-solving and a passion for the electrical field. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on electrical systems, creating innovative solutions, and ensuring all electrical work adheres to safety standards and building regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing ample room for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice and consultation on electrical systems for construction projects.
2. Develop and implement innovative solutions for complex electrical issues.
3. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
4. Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
5. Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems, identifying any issues and recommending necessary repairs or upgrades.
6. Prepare detailed reports and documentation, providing clear and concise information on electrical systems and recommendations.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and other team members.
9. Assist in the planning and design of electrical systems for new construction projects.
10. Participate in project meetings, providing expert input on all matters related to electrical systems.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the Construction industry.
2. Proven experience in consulting or a similar role.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and building regulations.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to resolving complex issues.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex electrical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
7. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
9. A valid electrician's license.
10. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
