POSITION:
The Electrical Wireman Level 3 positions involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, following NEC regulations, and using various tools. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical systems, proficiency with tools, and strong attention to detail and safety. Wireman 3 performs most tasks with limited supervision, demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills, and may mentor junior wiremen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
- Ensure NEC compliance in assigned tasks.
- Use advanced testing devices and tools.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex issues.
- Perform detailed inspections and identify hazards.
- Mentor Wireman 1 and 2 team members.
- Communicate material needs, risks, and progress updates.
- Assist supervisors with planning daily tasks and workflow.
- Read and apply blueprints and technical diagrams confidently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred**
- Has worked as an AP2/W2 approx. 1 year
- Has basic knowledge of electrical material.
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., ending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to guide and support all junior staff.
- Has own apprentice tools as specified by the company.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Can build and install conduit racks, install and make-up all light fixures.
- OSHA Certified Preferred
Pay Range: $22- $25 per Hour
