LINK Staffing is hiring an Electrical Test Technician for a 1st shift opportunity in the Katy, TX area. This role pays $30.00 per hour and is a strong fit for someone with electrical testing experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics. You’ll support production by inspecting units, running acceptance tests, documenting results, and helping identify issues before products move forward. Based on the client job details, the work includes pre-power inspection, insulation and function testing, troubleshooting, reporting failed units, and some mechanical assembly.

What You’ll Do

• Perform visual pre-power inspections on units before testing
• Run production acceptance testing, including insulation and function tests
• Use instructions, drawings, and procedures to complete testing work accurately
• Troubleshoot failed units and help identify the source of test issues
• Record test results and complete reports and required paperwork
• Report quality or test failures and support some mechanical assembly as needed 

What We’re Looking For

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics
• Experience with power electronics
• Experience using equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and isolation testers
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Able to handle large gauge cables
• Able to follow safety procedures and written work instructions in English
• Technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred by the client requirements
