Location: Near Crystal Hill, VA | Full-Time, Plant-Based Role
A major U.S. manufacturing organization with a long track record of producing engineered building systems and high-quality construction materials (products that have reshaped structural sheathing and subfloor technologies) is hiring an Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance at its Crystal Hill, VA area facility. This plant runs highly automated equipment that supports continuous operations where reliability — and the people who enable it — truly matters.
This is not entry maintenance — this is a leadership seat where your technical expertise and your ability to manage teams, systems, and outcomes will directly impact uptime, safety, and plant success.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Manage Electrical Maintenance
Assign and prioritize electrical work across the maintenance team
Troubleshoot complex electrical systems, controls, and automation
Review and support PLC program logic changes and field implementations
Ensure materials, spares, and manpower are ready to keep uptime high
Develop Technical Talent
Train and mentor electricians on new technologies and equipment
Monitor performance, build skills, and enhance team capability
Promote adherence to plant policies and safety standards
Drive Reliability & Performance
Maintain and evolve preventive maintenance programs
Analyze equipment failure patterns and initiate corrective actions
Partner with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve throughput
Safety & Compliance Leadership
Champion safety and environmental compliance across electrical operations
Support plant fire systems and emergency protocols
Lead investigations and corrective follow-up on incidents
Operational Improvement
Recommend changes to maintenance procedures to boost efficiency and safety
Support parts and inventory planning with purchasing
Maintain clean, organized maintenance workspaces

What They’re Looking For
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
3+ years hands-on industrial electrical or maintenance experience
PLC and industrial automation expertise
Skilled in electrical troubleshooting across industrial equipment
Leadership experience with technicians or maintenance crews
Comfortable with common maintenance software, spreadsheets, and documentation tools
