Are you looking to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the commercial construction industry. This is a permanent position with an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all stages of the electrical construction process, from design and installation to testing and maintenance.
2. Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.
3. Supervising a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
4. Coordinating with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
6. Managing resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
7. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are upheld.
8. Providing regular progress updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
2. Proven experience working on projects in healthcare, hospital, behavioral health, mission critical, or data center environments.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting electrical issues.
6. A solid understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
7. Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
9. A relevant license or certification would be a plus.
