We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position focused on the Mission Critical sector of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical projects from conception to completion, with a focus on commercial, utility, alternative energy, and data center projects. You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects, delivering them on time, within budget, and to our clients' satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion.
2. Coordinate and supervise the activities of the project team, including but not limited to electricians, engineers, and other construction professionals.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
4. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
5. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Review and approve electrical designs and installations.
7. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, and report issues.
8. Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
9. Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
10. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the latest industry trends, technologies, and practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in the areas of commercial, utility, alternative energy, and data center projects.
3. Proven experience in managing electrical projects, with a focus on mission-critical projects.
4. Thorough understanding of electrical systems, construction management, and project management.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficient in project management software.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
10. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
11. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
