We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in the Energy industry. This is a permanent position that offers a remarkable opportunity to manage and coordinate diverse electrical projects within the biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospital, and commercial construction sectors. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of driving the successful completion of complex projects while maintaining high safety, quality, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion while ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, regulations, timelines, and budget constraints.
2. Prepare comprehensive project estimates, bids, and proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Coordinate with various teams, including design, engineering, installation, and maintenance, to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and make necessary adjustments as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Implement risk management procedures to mitigate any potential project risks.
7. Ensure all safety and quality control standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Resolve any project-related issues, disputes, or disagreements in a timely and professional manner.
9. Conduct post-project evaluation to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimation within the energy industry, specifically in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospital, and commercial construction sectors.
3. Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools, and knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
8. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) will be an added advantage.
