We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team, focusing on our data center projects. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and challenging construction projects in the data center sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical installation on our mission-critical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all electrical aspects of our data center construction projects, from initial planning and estimating through to final execution and close-out.
2. Overseeing the installation of power distribution systems, ensuring they meet the unique needs of our data center clients.
3. Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with these.
4. Working closely with other members of the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively.
5. Identifying and managing risks and issues that could impact the successful completion of the project, and developing and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
7. Reporting regularly on project progress to senior management and clients, and ensuring any issues or concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an electrical project management role, preferably within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing large-scale, mission-critical construction projects, preferably in the data center sector.
3. Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems and their application in data center environments.
4. Strong skills in project planning and estimating, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks and issues effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. A relevant degree in electrical engineering or a related field would be an advantage.
8. A strong commitment to health and safety, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
9. Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, would be an advantage.
