Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate functions between Engineering and Production, performing hardware and firmware testing, developing, and maintaining test stations, and supporting quality efforts in electronics manufacturing.

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 + Discretionary Bonus + 401k Match (3%), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, PTO.

Job Description:

•        Coordinate functions between engineering and production teams to ensure smooth

•        collaboration and efficient production processes.

•        Perform thorough testing of hardware and firmware prior to releasing them for production.

•        Prepare and review test documentation for production and maintain accurate documentation revisions as required.

•        Develop and maintain electronic test stations to facilitate efficient and accurate testing processes.

•        Collaborate with production personnel to resolve day-to-day issues.

•        Conduct electrical and physical failure analysis on returns from the field to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

•        Engage in sustaining engineering activities for electronics boards, including identifying

•        obsolete parts that require replacement.

•        Assist in the certification of products for ETL, FCC, CE, RoHS, and REACH compliance.

•        Provide support for quality efforts and maintain adherence to manufacturing standards.

•        Performs other duties as required.

•        Experience & Education Requirements

•        Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

•        Hands-on experience with various testing equipment and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications Seeking:

•        Proficient in analyzing digital and analog circuitry.

•        Strong knowledge and experience in using meters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.

•        Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes, including surface mount technology.

•        Experience with automated test equipment and LabView development.

•        Knowledge of embedded firmware development.

•        Proficiency in the C programming language for embedded systems and firmware development.

•        Working knowledge of Python for test automation, data analysis, and manufacturing support tools.

•        Proficient computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office.

•        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•        Strong team player and self-starter.

•        Excellent planning and organizational skills.

•        Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 27001 security management system.
