Electrical Maintenance Manager
Brook Park, OH area manufacturing facility is seeking a full time Electrical Maintenance Manager to perform electrical, electronic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on plant machinery. The Electrical Maintenance Manager will also perform electrical installation for new and current equipment. This position will be Monday - Friday, Day Shift and offers competitive salary.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Multi-System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems within the facility.
- Communicating with direct reports and lead personnel on any machine problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to all shop production machinery. This includes checking oil levels, grease motors, changing filters on cooling system, checking the integrity of electrical connections, wiping out electrical cabinet and check fittings and conduit.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and optimize efficiency
- Repair and inspect overhead shop lighting. Continuous communication with Lead people about machinery repair needs.
- Work with outside vendors/suppliers for the purchase and trial of new items, supplies and parts, along with machine repair needs.
·Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and company safety protocols.
- Keep records for all repair work performed. Logging a brief summary of the problem, repair done and parts used.
- Working with Project Manager/Plant Manager on systemic preventative maintenance procedures including implementation of PM Management System.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 5years experience in industrial electrical work, including 480V AC power distribution.
- 2 years minimum experience in CNC Machine Troubleshooting
- Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed.
- Should have some computer experience.
- Able to manage direct reports
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Vocational school training on electrical principles and troubleshooting.
- At least 5 years’ experience in industry or the machine tool industry.
