Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Overview
This role provides advanced electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for a manufacturing facility. The technician is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of process instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment while maintaining safety and compliance standards. On-call availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Follow all safety, environmental, and SOP requirements, including lockout/tagout and arc flash procedures
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using gauges, diagnostic tools, and testing instruments
- Repair, reassemble, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and electrical components
- Maintain accurate calibration records and update the CMMS database
- Calibrate and maintain process instrumentation, VFDs, motor controls, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and investigate equipment failures to identify root causes
- Assist with planning and execution of equipment shutdowns
- Troubleshoot and support MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and related control systems
- Install and maintain instruments, control panels, and electrical hardware
- Support HMI systems and industrial Ethernet networks
- Participate in on-call rotation to support facility operations
Qualifications
Required
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronics or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electromechanical, instrumentation, and electrical roles
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems
- Strong technical aptitude with industrial equipment and components
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
- Familiarity with Wonderware software
- Experience troubleshooting and calibrating control valves
- Knowledge of VFD structure and operation
