POSITION: Electrical Helper / Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician -- Lamar, CO
DUTIES:
• Pull wire, route conduit, and dig trenches for new installations
• Assist senior electrician with layout, rough-in, and finish work on commercial and residential projects
• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine job specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely; keep work area clean and organized
• Perform basic troubleshooting, continuity testing, and repairs under supervision (Helper/Apprentice) or independently (Journeyman)
• Load, unload, and inventory materials; drive company vehicle to and from job sites as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid Colorado driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in trenches and confined spaces
• Construction experience: No Experience (Helper); 2 + years electrical experience and enrollment in registered apprenticeship (Apprentice); Colorado Journeyman Electrician license and 4 + years experience (Journeyman)
• Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and electrical terminology
• Must be willing to submit to background check and motor-vehicle record review
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Pre-employment drug screening may be required
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Construction safety card
• CDL Class B or ability to obtain
• Experience with commercial/industrial wiring and conduit bending
WAGE: $15.00 -- $30.00 per hour (DOE, license level)
SHIFTS: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM, Monday -- Friday
JOB SITE: Lamar, CO
BENEFITS:

• One (1) week paid vacation after 12 months continuous employment
