General Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Helper to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings throughout the Dayton area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the electrical trade and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist electricians in installing and maintaining wiring, lighting, and electrical systems.

  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for each job site.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

  • Perform basic tasks such as running conduit, pulling wire, drilling, and using hand and power tools under supervision.

  • Support troubleshooting and testing of electrical components as directed.

  • Load and unload materials and equipment.

  • Travel to various job sites in and around Dayton, Ohio as needed.

 

 

Minimum Education: None Minimum Years of Experience: 0-2 Specific Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Some experience in construction or electrical work is a plus, but not required.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and at heights.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces when required.

  • Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures common in Ohio.

Work Environment

  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in residential, commercial, and industrial settings throughout Dayton, Ohio.

  • Exposure to dust, noise, and active construction zones.

  • Work may involve heights, tight spaces, and changing job site conditions.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
