Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who has a strong background in high-voltage substations, electrical transmission & distribution, and utility-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
2. Analyze and compute data related to construction projects, such as material cost, labor cost, and timeframes.
3. Utilize software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates.
4. Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the scope and requirements of the project.
6. Review and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for high-voltage substations, electrical transmission lines & distribution, and utility-scale projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficient in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.
4. Extensive knowledge of high voltage substations, electric power transmission, electrical transmission, and EHV transmission lines.
5. Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and the construction industry.
