Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Design

Position: Electrical Engineer

Location:Thorofare, NJ

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced test facilities. In this role, you will work on electrical power systems including generation, distribution, conversion, and transmission. You will collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality designs and analyses.

Responsibilities

·         Develop electric power one-line diagrams in collaboration with senior engineers.

·         Review system design requirements and establish analysis criteria.

·         Create cabling arrangement models and detailed drawings.

·         Prepare wiring diagrams and tables.

·         Conduct and document design analyses to validate suitability of designs.

·         Review and check engineering drawings for cabling routing, support, and electrical equipment installation.

·         Communicate effectively with project teams and technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

·         Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electrical systems design.

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with SKM Power Systems Analysis and Design software.

·         Background in electrical power generation, distribution, conversion, or transmission.
