Role: Electrical Engineer (Power Electronics)
Location: Chillicothe, IL

Job Summary:
Looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in power electronics and electric drivetrain systems. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and improving power inverter performance in production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform testing and root cause analysis on inverter issues
• Plan and execute lab tests, analyze results, and create reports
• Work on cost reduction and component improvements
• Review engineering drawings and update specifications
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams

Required Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of power inverters (design, control, and testing)
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage and high-power systems
• Experience in troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Familiarity with tools: Oscilloscope, dataloggers, HV probes
• Knowledge of testing and analysis tools: Python, MATLAB, Excel
• Understanding of standards: IPC 600/650 and IEC 60204/60664/61557 standards
• Experience with quality processes: FMEA, APQP, PPAP

Experience:
• 6+ years in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics preferred)
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus)
