Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in Pittsburgh, PA, who is enthusiastic about working on projects that are central to our clients' businesses. Responsibilities
- Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our clients' advanced facilities.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.
- Deliver complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads as part of our electrical delivery team.
- Develop staffing plans based on deliverables and project schedules.
- Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.
- Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designers/drafters.
Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3-D modeling/drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- At least 1 year of Revit Design Experience.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements.
- Two-year Associate’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 3 years of semiconductor experience.
