Pay Range: Starting at $100,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

ROLE IMPACT
The Electrical Manager – EV Charging leads both the electrical design and construction execution of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) projects across commercial and public infrastructure sites. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient installation of EV charging systems while managing contractors, schedules, and stakeholder coordination. The Electrical Manager acts as the key technical authority for field execution and electrical infrastructure design, supporting the rapid expansion of sustainable mobility solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as electrical lead and construction manager for multiple EV charging projects simultaneously.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing electrical infrastructure, identify required upgrades, and confirm power availability.
- Manage and review electrical design deliverables, including load calculations, equipment layouts, panel schedules, and single-line diagrams.
- Oversee field execution, ensuring installation aligns with design intent, local codes, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with utilities, inspectors, and general contractors to facilitate power connections and resolve site issues.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety regulations, and all applicable standards.
- Review and approve design packages from internal or external engineering partners.
- Maintain tracking logs, project schedules, and construction reports to ensure accountability and timely delivery.
- Stay informed on EV charging technologies, permitting practices, and electrical code updates.
- Support the continuous improvement of construction processes and safety procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensing: Active Journeyman Electrician License (required); Master Electrician preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, installation, or construction oversight.
- Proven success managing field operations, contractor oversight, and project execution.
- Solid understanding of EVSE systems, electrical distribution, and power design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and capable of managing project documentation efficiently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Previous experience with EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, or distributed power systems.
- Background in commercial, utility, or wireless infrastructure construction.
- Working knowledge of project management tools and construction documentation systems.
- Familiarity with permitting, inspection, and utility coordination processes.
