Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $22-24/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Objective

Perform electrical assembly and panel wiring operations for industrial control systems. Execute wiring tasks from technical drawings, assemble electrical enclosures, and support the production of automated equipment within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Construct control panel assemblies by measuring, cutting, drilling, and mounting electrical components including terminal blocks, circuit protection devices, programmable controllers, and motor control equipment
  • Execute point-to-point wiring connections within enclosures using electrical drawings and circuit documentation
  • Fabricate custom cable assemblies with appropriate termination methods
  • Install conduit, cable routing systems, and wiring between control stations and equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, and sensors on shop floor machinery
  • Mount cabinetry components including DIN rail and terminal strips within enclosures
  • Verify completed wiring against technical specifications
  • Operate standard electrical trade tools, cutting equipment, material handling machinery, and power tools

Requirements

  • Up to 2 years of experience in electrical panel wiring or assembly
  • Capability to execute wiring from technical prints and circuit diagrams
  • Background in machinery assembly with comprehensive tool operation knowledge
  • Proficiency interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Basic troubleshooting abilities
  • Mathematical aptitude for measurements and calculations
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform repetitive bending
