Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and corporate standards.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all levels of employees.
• Oversee environmental permitting, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead internal and external EHS audits and inspections, driving corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills with the ability to influence and drive EHS culture.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems, ideally as a Lead Auditor.
• Demonstrated application of Lean or Six Sigma principles to EHS processes.
• Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Specific experience in emergency response planning and crisis management.
