We are seeking a forward-thinking Environmental Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of EHS strategy, programs, and culture across multiple sites for a Tier-1 automotive manufacturer. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership-level role: guiding safety initiatives, influencing plant leadership, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position has no direct reports today, but it carries clear leadership responsibility and the opportunity to shape future EHS structure.

Job Details
What You’ll Lead:
- Serve as the site EHS leader, guiding strategy, execution, and compliance across multiple facilities.
- Develop, implement, and deliver high-impact EHS training aligned to automotive manufacturing needs.
- Lead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, procedures, and safety systems.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to uphold Tier-1 automotive standards.
- Partner closely with plant leadership, engineering, quality, maintenance, and HR to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Prepare and present EHS performance reports, metrics, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
- Champion a proactive safety culture by driving accountability, coaching supervisors, and influencing cross-functional teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of EHS experience in high-volume manufacturing or industrial environments; automotive Tier-1 strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, or similar safety/environmental management systems.
- Proven ability to lead safety initiatives without direct authority—driving adoption, coaching teams, and building relationships.
- Expertise in hazard recognition, incident investigation, risk reduction, and program development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to influence decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general EHS reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related area.
- Valid driver’s license and passport; ASP or similar certifications are a plus.
