EDM WIRE/CNC Machinist

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certification or vocational training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating EDM wire machines in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup and Operation:
Set up and operate EDM wire machines following work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Select appropriate wire types, machine settings, and tooling for various materials.
Adjust machine parameters to maintain specified tolerances and quality.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and correct any defects or deviations from specifications.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on EDM wire machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance personnel.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
