About Our Client:

Our client is a leading hospital providing comprehensive emergency services to the Chicago community. The admitting department is the first point of contact for patients entering the ER, playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate patient information, proper billing, and smooth administrative processes.

Job Description:

We are hiring three ED Registration Representatives for 2nd shift to support the Emergency Room admitting department. This role is patient-facing and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and prior experience in hospital registration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for ER patients, completing over-the-phone interviews and capturing demographics
• Enter patient information accurately to ensure proper billing and timely collections
• Correct incomplete registrations quickly to avoid payment delays
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with patients and staff
• Utilize EPIC to manage patient accounts and registration data

Qualifications:

• Previous ED registration or hospital admitting experience (required)
• EPIC or Cerner system experience (required)
• Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced ER environment
• Strong verbal communication and data-entry skills
• Reliable work history with positive references

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM (Off Thu/Fri)
• Full-Time: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (Off Wed/Thu)
• Part-Time: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (Off Tue/Wed/Thu)
• Training: M–F, 2 weeks, 2 PM–10 PM
• Occasional overtime available
