Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, performing retrofit work, and investigating various issues. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a variety of tasks, and candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced setting where weekly assignments may vary.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform retrofit work as needed.
- Conduct investigations into technical problems.
- Adapt to a variety of tasks and changing weekly assignments.
Qualifications
- Experience in any of the following disciplines is ideal: buses, trains, trucks, autos, aircraft, etc.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components and systems, as well as mechanical systems and machinery.
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Solid work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers.
- Computer savvy with own laptop or iPhone.
- Must have own tools.
Additional Requirements
- Open to travel at short notice and work nights and weekends when needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
