Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Glendale, CA, a vibrant city known for its diverse culture and proximity to Los Angeles. The role involves the fabrication and manufacturing of complex, prototypical electrical assemblies with a focus on wiring, terminating, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will contribute to project goals and support the design and development of electrical assemblies and systems.
Responsibilities
- Direct the fabrication and manufacturing of complex electrical assemblies with an emphasis on wiring, terminating, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in project goals, including mock-up, integration, and troubleshooting of various assemblies.
- Support the design and development of electrical assemblies and systems by producing wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules.
- Collaborate with QC and Engineering to identify, correct, and mitigate deviations from assembly requirements.
- Provide input into the review of company standards for the design and production of assemblies.
- Develop and oversee new ideas to enhance work processes and implement them.
- Provide technical oversight to outside vendors contracted to produce animation.
- Contribute to project estimating and scheduling by assessing and communicating assembly progress.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules.
- Strong understanding of electronic and electrical design principles.
- Demonstrated electro-mechanical assembly skills.
- Advanced setup and repair skills using diagnostic techniques, equipment, and software.
- Understanding of UL Compliance related to the product line.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in a collaborative work environment across technical disciplines.
- Ability to make technical decisions independently.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or trade school degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, focusing on wiring, terminating, repairing, and troubleshooting complex electrical assemblies and systems.
Required Education
High school degree or equivalent.

Start time: 6:00 am or 7:00 am
Must-Haves
- Experience in the fabrication or manufacturing of complex prototype electrical assemblies.
- Electro-mechanical assembly skill set.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schedules.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries is transferable.
