Ranch Manager/Caretaker
Driggs, ID
The Ranch is a family-owned property in Driggs, Idaho, held by the same family for nearly 45 years. In that time, four exceptional Ranch Managers have each served long, multi-decade tenures—a rare record of continuity and trust.
We are now hiring an outstanding Ranch Manager to lead the entire operation in close partnership with our family for many years to come.
The Ranch includes ~2,000 acres on the west side of Teton Valley, ID. The Ranch includes recreational and farmed (third-party) acreage, two log homes, a guest house and garage, a bunkhouse, pool, hot tubs (2), barn, car barn, hay shed, stocked trout pond, shooting range, other miscellaneous structures, horses (12), and vehicles/equipment. Housing for the manager is off-site and nearby in a modern home.
The Manager is expected to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. Manager may need to bring in temporary workers for part-time/project-based work. This occurs most often in the summer months. Manager will lead and supervise any hired and third-party workers.
In addition, Manager will need to interact regularly with the multi-generational family and their guests while on Property. This requires a hospitality and customer-service type approach.
