Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Perform full dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components

Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections

Inspect and record dimensions per blueprints, process sheets, and inspection documentation

Review process certifications and quality documentation

Utilize micrometers, calipers, gauges, and advanced inspection equipment

Support ECAV reports and customer submissions

Interface with customers and internal teams to resolve quality or technical issues

Maintain strict compliance with aerospace, customer, and export regulations

Work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and production

Qualifications — Needed

Associate’s degree in engineering or technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience

Minimum 5+ years of aerospace inspection experience

Active GE or Collins DQR certification (or ability to recertify)

Direct experience supporting GE Aviation, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, or similar OEMs

Strong background in FAI, PPAP, and ECAV submissions

Familiarity with customer supplier portals (GE Aviation, Raytheon Technologies)

Experience with critical component processes (ESA, VSE, SPS)

Strong IT skills related to digital gaging and quality systems

Knowledge of ITAR and DFARS export compliance requirements
