• Evaluate each dog’s condition, coat, and individual needs
• Create grooming plans based on client preferences and best practices
• Safely detangle and manage matted coats
• Lift and maneuver dogs of all sizes with confidence
• Skilled and efficient with grooming tools and equipment
• Maintain a calm, confident demeanor to soothe anxious pets
• Strong attention to detail and finish work
• Communicate clearly with pet parents and recognize canine body language
• Artistic ability and breed knowledge for advanced styling
• Understanding of various coat types and their specific grooming needs
