District Manager

Overview:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant locations within the district.
- Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety.
- Conduct regular store visits, operational audits, and performance reviews.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Provide hands on leadership support during high volume periods when needed.
- Monitor and improve district level sales performance, labor costs, food costs, and controllable expenses.
- Review weekly store metrics and profit and loss summaries.
- Coach Store Managers on labor management, scheduling discipline, and inventory control.
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability and reduce operational waste.
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and Assistant Managers.
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and leadership development across all locations.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, and corrective actions.
- Build strong store leadership teams capable of running high performing locations.
- Ensure all locations follow company SOPs, food safety standards, and labor regulations.
- Support onboarding and development of new store managers.
- Ensure stores consistently pass health inspections and internal audits.
- Maintain fair and consistent enforcement of company policies.
- Ensure every store delivers a consistent and positive guest experience.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally.
- Protect and strengthen Captain Jay’s brand standards.
- Provide regular operational updates to the Director of Operations.
- Document store performance issues, action plans, and follow ups.
- Serve as the communication link between corporate leadership and store teams.
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
- Experience managing multiple locations or large teams strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel frequently between locations.
- Experience in Quick Service Restaurant or fast casual environments.
- Proven ability to improve underperforming stores.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours when needed.

- $1,000 to $5,000 sign on bonus depending on experience, availability, and successful completion of onboarding milestones.
