Your Impact
- Own warehouse outcomes: safety, housekeeping, 5S/Lean, on-time customer delivery, operational efficiency and effectiveness, cost control, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, employee development, and compliance.
- Build a performance culture: hire and review talent with the Operations Manager and HR; set measurable goals aligned to Operations, UPM, and ONI strategies; conduct annual reviews; create targeted training and development plans; correct performance and behavior issues promptly.
- Protect people and the planet: ensure OSHA and EPA compliance across all warehouse activities.
- Drive CI daily: establish a visible Continuous Improvement culture; implement and enforce 5S/Lean standards.
- Hit the plan: execute weekly production/shipment schedules; track KPIs daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually; close gaps fast.
- Reduce cost year-over-year: launch and track cost savings/avoidance initiatives tied to operating expense reductions.
- Guard inventory integrity: standardize processes to keep counts accurate and audit-ready.
- Champion ISO and ethics: enforce ISO requirements; model the UPM and ONI Code of Conduct and Ethics policy.

Background We’re Seeking
- Associate Degree (related field) or equivalent education/experience.
- Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified Required (or an identified certification path).
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience.
- 5+ years in manufacturing/distribution/warehouse operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct/Indirect reports depends on location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Core Competencies
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
